  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Prepare the Rice:
  • If you don’t have pre-cooked rice, cook 1 cup of white rice according to package instructions. Keep it warm.
  • Cook the Egg:
  • Heat a small pan over medium heat and add butter.
  • Crack the egg into the pan and cook until the whites are set but the yolk is still slightly runny (or to your preferred doneness).
  • Assemble the Bowl:
  • Place the warm rice in a serving bowl.
