Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Kielbasa:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the sliced kielbasa and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the kielbasa from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and sliced bell peppers, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Make the Sauce:
Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer.
Stir in the heavy cream and tomato sauce. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine Ingredients:
Add the cooked kielbasa back into the skillet.
Stir in the cooked pasta and mix well to coat everything in the sauce.
Season:
Add Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir to combine.
Finish and Serve:
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and toss until everything is well coated.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Serve and Enjoy!
Serve the Kielbasa Pasta hot, with extra Parmesan if desired.
